A Taste of Summer?

I so cannot believe it's snowing outside.  But I am thrilled that it is!  I thing my Australian Shepherds are too... assuming from all the running and playing they did outside this evening.

Ironically, I have been working on this piece recently... The day I visited this field, it had been dried after a longer summer at the end of August.  This was a beautifully comfortable warm summer day.  (But then again, I love warm days.)

I haven't worked much on my images recently.  As my health has cooperating more, I have made getting up and active as my first priority to get stronger and get caught up on all that stuff that tends to get backed up just because it can.  I have been taking my camera out with me so my library of images to work on is growing.

So when I have a little extra energy to jump on the computer, I love it! To have a little fun, I combined three different images to create this piece.  The beautiful paint was a horse that I photographed at the Eagle Hill Equine Rescue.  And when I saw this field, it was so beautiful, I knew it would be a beautiful setting to work with.  Then I added a texture on top of it all.

Wouldn't this field make a lovely home for any horse?
